Barack Obama hits out at McCain, President Bush and the Republican Party
Well it is finally over and now it’s our turn. I can’t wait until next week!
Now... what did I think of Barack’s speech tonight? I’d have to say -- ‘Just Words... Just Speeches!’
I’ve heard so many people say it was a Historic Speech Obama gave tonight... but I didn’t think so. Then again... we will have to leave that one to the eyes of the beholder.
Barack Obama did come out tonight swinging against McCain, President Bush and the Republican Party. But all I saw on stage was a man that speaks well... promises everything... yet does so in an empty suite.
The way I see it... Barack Obama isn’t a new man of Hope, but a new man who’s just plain dangerous.
Yes... I truly do believe that one Barack Obama is a danger to this country and cannot be allowed to step into the White House as President. NEVER......... AubreyJ.........

WashingtonPost.com has this report up on their website this evening and it starts off like this...With the weight of history hanging over them, Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Democratic Party formally chose Sen. Barack Obama as the nominee for the White House, elevating the first African American to that exalted post and putting a black man a step from the presidency... Read the story at link below... In Historic Vote, Obama Officially Claims Democratic Nomination
.. ****************************************
. I for one have a problem with it when the MSM keeps reporting that Senator Barack Obama is the first African American ever nominated by a Major Party as their Presidential Candidate.
He is not... He is part African American... part Caucasian... who has a white mother, black father and is married to a black women.
To be correct... one would have to say that he is the first‘Multiracial’ Americanever nominated by a Major Party as their Presidential Candidate. AubreyJ.........

My pen name is AubreyJ... I’m 60 years young and I live in Shreveport, LA. I've been married only once and that is to the same lovely lady named Amy. (It’s hard to believe that after all these years she still claims me as hers!) Have one Daughter named Michelle and two wonderful Grandsons named David, (18) and Chase, (13). I spent most of my adult life as a Manager in the Sales and Service profession. Today I am semi-retired and spend most of my time searching for news stories and Blogging on the ones that I find news worthy. I’m a... just right of the middle... Republican, who’s 1000% Pro Victory on the War on Terror. I’m a strong supporter of the Troops and my Political Party... Even though I find myself in some disagreement, yet MAJOR disappointment with where the leaders of my Party have taken us over these last so many years. Sadly -- I still cannot find very much of anything that I agree with the Dems on these days... GOD BLESS THE TROOPS... their families and this great country of ours.
