GOP Strikes Back at Al Gore Over Terror

On the threat of terrorism, Mr. Gore writes that instead of making it better, the president "has made it worse. We are less safe because of his policy. He has created more anger and righteous indignation against us than any leader of our country in all the years of our existence as a nation."... Gore also criticized the administration's failure to prevent the attacks of September 11, 2001, writing that the Clinton administration responded much more proactively to terrorist threats than did the current administration when it received warnings during the summer of 2001 ... GOP S.C. Debate

TheState.com website has a very good write-up on the GOP Debate Tuesday night, May 15, 2007. It goes in part like this... Giuliani’s top moment has been replayed over and over on television and streaming Internet video. It might have catapulted him from a decent debate performance to a strong one. As soon as Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, said the Sept. 11 attacks might have been caused by U.S. military action in Iraq, Giuliani pounced.

GOP Candidates to meet in First Debate Tonight

Ten of the GOP Candidates running for President will get after it in the first GOP Debate Tonight. The 90-minute debate will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. MSNBC and The Politico are the co-sponsors of the debate and it will be moderated by Chris Matthews.

Airtime is from 7:00pm CDT – 8:30pm CDT on the MSNBC Cable News Channel.
