Senator Chuck Hagel’s Bid for GOP Presidential Nomination Still Possible – But Not Likely

Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel used a National News Conference Monday to tell everyone that he had not decided whether he would seek the presidency or a third term in the senate... Speaking at the University of Nebraska - Omaha, Hagel said he would raise money for a 2008 Senate campaign, without saying he had decided to run again. At the same time, he left the door open for a race for the Republican nomination for president. Any money raised for a Senate campaign could later be transferred to a presidential campaign fund.

With this NO announcement- announcement today... I’d have to say Mr. Hagel will not be a player in the 2008 White House Race. With that said... I’ll be dropping him from the above in the race list in the next few days.

The way I see it... he will never raise the money needed for a serious President Campaign... so I'm counting him down and OUT.
